For the Hot Chocolate
- 2 tbsp cacao powder
- 1½ cups oat milk
- pinch pink salt
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp pure maple syrup
For the Topping (Optional)
- vegan whipped cream
- vegan marshmallows
- vegan chocolate chips melted
Mix all hot chocolate ingredients into a saucepan over medium heat with a milk frother, until no clumps of cacao remain.
Allow the mixture to come to a boil.
Once boiling, turn off the heat and pour the hot chocolate into a mug.
Top with vegan whipped cream, marshmallows, melted chocolate or other toppings. Enjoy!
