matcha powder

tbsp
hot water
1
cup
water

tbsp
pure maple syrup

lemon
cut into round slices

fresh mint
⅔

ice cubes
Instructions
Whisk together the matcha with the 1 tbsp water using a bamboo whisk or a milk frother.
In a stovetop pot, add in the water, maple syrup, mint and lemon slices.
Bring this to a boil, then remove from the heat. Let it sit covered, for 15 minutes.
Whisk the matcha-water mixture into the pot.
Add the ice to a tall glass. Pour the drink from the pot through a sieve, into the glass. The lemon and mint will be strained out.
Top with optional lemon slices and fresh mint. Enjoy!
