Equipment

  • Spatula
  • Strainer
  • Citrus Juicer
  • Stovetop Pot with lid

Ingredients

  • ½ cup frozen cranberries
  • 1 medium orange juiced using a citrus juicer
  • 2 tbsp fresh mint leaves
  • cup sparkling water
  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • ¼ cup ice cubes

Instructions

  • In a stovetop pot over medium-low heat, add the cranberries.
  • Keep these on medium-low until they start to become plump and juicy. Use a heatproof spatula to press down on the berries to release their juice while they cook.
  • After 7-8 minutes, remove the berries from the heat.
  • Add the sparkling water, mint leaves, lemon juice and orange juice to the pot.
  • Add the ice to a glass. Pour the drink over top of the ice, through a strainer to remove the cranberries - squeeze all the juice out of the cranberries with the back of a spoon.
  • Keep the mint leaves in the drink for color and flavor. Additionally, add a few frozen cranberries into the glass when serving.
  • Enjoy it fresh!

Notes

  • Storage
    • Store in a covered glass in the refrigerator for up to one day. Serve chilled.
