In a small skillet over medium-low heat, add in the vegan butter. Let it start to sizzle, then add in the garlic.
Stir the garlic around for a few minutes, until lightly browned and aromatic.
Turn off the heat and set aside.
Lightly grease a stovetop pan on medium-high heat, with extra vegan butter. Be generous with the butter!
Add the bread pieces evenly, side by side. Let it toast until lightly browned on one side, then flip. Depending on the size of your pan, you may have to repeat this a few times (add vegan butter to each new set of bread pieces, and when you flip them over as well).
Remove the bread from the heat once toasted. Brush the garlic butter mixture over top using a pastry brush.
Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with optional cilantro or parsley, for flavor.
Serve with vegan marinara sauce or a warm bowl of soup for a cozy combo. Garlic bread also pairs beautifully with pasta dishes or a fresh, green salad. Enjoy!
