Vegan 6-Layer Magic Bars Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • cups vegan graham cracker crumbs
  • ½ cup salted vegan butter melted; reserve extra for greasing the pan
  • ½ cup vegan sweetened condensed milk at room temperature
  • ½ cup vegan semisweet chocolate chips
  • ½ cup raw walnuts chopped
  • ½ cup sweetened shredded coconut

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350F.
  • Lightly grease the baking pan with vegan butter, then line it with parchment paper.
  • Mix together the graham cracker crumbs and the melted butter in a bowl. Start with a half cup of butter, and add more as needed. You may not need the entire half cup - just add enough butter to help it all press together.
  • Use the bottom of a glass to press the graham cracker crust firmly into the pan.
  • Evenly spread the sweetened condensed milk over the crust.
  • Sprinkle on the chocolate chips, walnuts and then coconut. Gently press then down into the sweetened condensed milk.
  • Bake for 30 minutes, until the edges of the bars are golden-brown.
  • Once done, remove from the oven. Let them cool for at least 30 minutes. Refrigerate the bars to firm them up, if they're too soft. Once they're hard enough, cut them into 12 servings and enjoy!

  • Storage
    • Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week, with parchment paper in between the layers.
