- 1⅓ cups oat milk
- ⅔ cup rolled oats
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- ⅛ tsp pink salt
- ½ medium red apple diced
- ¼ tsp ground nutmeg
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- ¼ tsp ground ginger
- 1 tbsp pure maple syrup
- raw walnuts optional topping
- black raisins optional topping
In a stovetop pot over high heat, add all the ingredients, except the optional toppings.
Allow the mixture to come to a boil.
Once it boils, reduce the heat to medium. Let it cook, stirring every minute.
After a few minutes, the mixture will have thickened. Once it reaches the desired consistency, remove from the heat.
Spoon the oatmeal into a bowl. Top with optional raisins, walnuts or an extra drizzle of maple syrup. Enjoy warm!
