Substitutions

Cranberries: I used frozen cranberries for this recipe, but you can substitute with fresh cranberries.

Lemon: Use freshly squeezed juice for best results, and swap it out for lime as a sub. Use bottled juice as the next best option.

Orange Juice: While freshly squeezed orange juice provides the best flavor, store-bought orange juice will work as well. For a slightly different twist, you could also use blood orange juice, which has a more intense color and a slightly different flavor profile. If buying store-bought, buy it without the pulp.

Sparkling Water: If you prefer, you can substitute sparkling water with club soda, tonic water for a bit of bitterness, or even a lemon-lime soda for a sweeter option. Each will give the mocktail a different level of fizz and flavor, allowing you to customize it to your preference.

Sparkling Cranberry Orange Mocktail Recipe Notes

  • If you prefer a sweeter mocktail, consider adding a touch of honey, agave syrup, or a splash of simple syrup. Taste as you go to ensure the sweetness level is just right for you.
  • To elevate the presentation, garnish your mocktail with fresh mint, a twist of orange peel, or a few whole cranberries.
