Substitutions

Vegan Whipping Cream: I used Silk’s Dairy-Free Whipping Cream Alternative, as shown in the image above the recipe card (scroll down to view). There may be other brands that make vegan whipping cream, but this one is my go-to because of the taste and texture.

Cold Brew: Use a vanilla-flavored or neutral cold brew flavor of choice.

Chocolate Chips: Use vegan semisweet chocolate chips (or chocolate chunks) in this recipe. Dark chocolate will leave it with a bitter underlying taste, and milk chocolate will be too sweet. Equipment

  • Milk Frother handheld or machine

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup ice
  • 1 cup cold brew
  • ½ tbsp agave nectar
  • tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 tbsp vegan whipping cream
  • 1 tbsp vegan semisweet chocolate chips melted

Instructions
 

  • Add the ice to a cup.
  • Mix the cold brew, vanilla and agave in another cup. Pour this over the cold brew.
  • Add the melted chocolate and whipping cream to a milk frother. If you don't have a frothing machine, add them to a deep cup and use a handheld frother.
  • Once frothed, pour this over top of the cold brew. Give it a stir and enjoy!
