Starbucks Secret Menu Cinnamon Roll Frappuccino

Today we are making a Starbucks Secret Menu Cinnamon Roll Frappuccino! Starbucks has a well-known secret menu that coffee lovers adore. It’s an unofficial collection of creative drinks that aren’t on the standard menu but can be ordered by knowing the right ingredients or special instructions. This secret menu is a playground for baristas and customers alike, encouraging coffee enthusiasts to experiment with flavors and customize their favorite drinks in exciting new ways.

One of the most popular secret menu items is the Starbucks Cinnamon Roll Frappuccino. This delightful concoction captures the warm, comforting flavors of a classic cinnamon roll and blends them into a cold, creamy frappuccino. It’s like having a dessert in a cup, making it the perfect treat for anyone with a sweet tooth who also loves their coffee. The rich combination of vanilla bean, cinnamon dolce syrup, and white mocha sauce gives this drink its signature cinnamon roll taste, while a generous topping of whipped cream adds the perfect finishing touch.

In this recipe, we’ll show you exactly how to recreate the Starbucks Cinnamon Roll Frappuccino at home. Whether you’re already a fan of this secret menu item or trying it for the first time, making it yourself means you can tweak it to your liking—add a little extra cinnamon for warmth, or maybe a splash of caramel for even more indulgence. Let’s get started and whip up a frappuccino that tastes just like a freshly baked cinnamon roll!

Why You’ll Love This Starbucks Secret Menu Cinnamon Roll Frappuccino

It’s a Cozy Dessert in a Cup: The Starbucks Secret Menu Cinnamon Roll Frappuccino offers all the warmth and comfort of a freshly baked cinnamon roll, but in a chilled, sippable form. It’s like enjoying your favorite bakery treat without the need to bake—perfect for those days when you want something sweet and cozy but with a refreshing twist.

A Creative Coffee Adventure: Trying out this secret menu frappuccino is more than just enjoying a drink; it’s an exciting way to explore and experiment with new flavors. If you love being adventurous with your coffee choices, this cinnamon roll-inspired creation lets you experience the thrill of something unique and delicious that goes beyond the standard menu options.

Substitutions

Coconut Milk: For the best texture, use full-fat, canned coconut milk. The only ingredients should be coconut and water. Make sure to shake the can before using it, as the coconut cream and water can separate if it’s refrigerated.

To make this recipe nut-free, swap out the coconut milk with a different plant-based milk. It won’t be as creamy due to the lack of fat that full-fat coconut milk has, but it will work. Pea milk, almond milk, cashew milk and more (select your favorite, neutral-flavored, plain vanilla milk) can work.

Coconut Sugar: Swap in vegan brown sugar, although the recipe won’t be refined sugar-free. You’ll want to look for vegan-certified brown sugar, since not all sugar is vegan. White sugar (and brown sugar, which is made off of white sugar) uses bone char during processing, which makes it non-vegan.

Maple Syrup: You can control the amount of sweetener as desired in this drink. We use pure maple syrup versus a more granulated sweetener like monkfruit, so it easily can mix into the drink. Substitute with agave nectar, but it will not be refined sugar-free.

Oat Milk: For the best texture and flavor, use unsweetened oat milk or another plant-based milk. Oat milk has a sweet, nutty flavor that works the best, but cashew milk, almond milk or another plant-based milk can work.

Whipped Cream: Find vegan whipped cream from a can at the grocery store, just like dairy whipped cream comes from an aerosol can. There are coconut-based whipped creams (like Gay Lea, the brand that’s in the grocery stores in my area), almond-based, soy-based and more. You can find the one that’s in your area, order it from online or omit this (a festive latte just doesn’t have the same appeal without whip though)!

Cinnamon Roll Frappuccino Recipe Notes

  • To achieve the perfect consistency, blend your frappuccino on high for about 30 seconds or until it reaches a smooth, creamy texture. If it’s too thick, you can add a splash of milk to thin it out.
  • To keep this recipe refined sugar-free, omit the whipped cream.
